Taitung City is situated in the center of Taitung County. It is neighbored with the Central Range in the west and the Pacific Ocean in the east. In Taitung City , many scenic spots are worth visiting , for example :
Shainyuan Beach ; Siaoyeliou; Beinan Cultural Park; National Museum Of Prehistory;Liyu Mountain; Green Tunnel; Seaside Park ,Forest Park, Hoshui Lake, Pipa Lake, Lussu Lake and other attractions.
If you have enough time , you can go along the East Coast, through Water Flow Upward View , Chenggong , Sansiantai; Shihyusan, Basian Caves on to Hualien.
Another good choice is to visit East Rift Valley. The main spots there are Jhihben Hot Springs and Forest Recreation Area, Chulu Dairy Farm , Hungye Village and Luye Tea Farm .
Whether you enjoy exploring the valley, going along the East Coast, eating seafood or bathing in hot springs to relax yourself , you will have a memorable journey.
