My Ambition:
Under the efforts of all the mayors and civil
servants for the past years, we have built a very good living
environment. However, we should try to do better in the future. In the
next four years, we will do our best to put all of the civil facilities
into practice. We have faith in leading all of the civil servants to
accomplish this mission.
Here’s the enforcement of all the important city establishments in my
service period:
1. Realization of the service of “getting close to the residents”:
To expand our service, “getting close to the
residents” has been put into effect.
Its main purpose is to solve problems and listen to local people’s opinions for the
city government’s
reformation and demand. This service seeks to help people.
2. Volunteer service plan
Volunteer service
is a guide for the city improvement based on the love for the
locals. In order to effectively use the social labor source, enhance service quality
and increase people’s opportunity of participating in social services, we
especially plan a“Volunteer Service
Plan” to muster volunteer people.
3. Hiring city counselors and providing expert counseling
To strengthen political
quality, we hire experts and richly experienced politicians
to be our city counselors who will provide expert counseling, hoping to make our
city establishment perfect through
the counselors’ expert advice.
4. Enhancement for living quality
We encourage residential
union to keep life safe and disciplined. We aim to
eliminate the selfish attitudes, wishing to retain the traditional values of our
country.
5. Humanity disposition re-enhancement
City government preserves local
culture and history with rich information of local
culture and history for enthusiastic local people to have an important reference,
encouraging other groups to
participate in collecting local culture and history.
6. Tribal Reformation
We will build up a tribal
related environment, developing tribal cultural business,
aboriginal language restoration, children’s education, medical caring system,
tribal environment and improvement
of synchronized demands.
7. New Look of environmental cleanliness
We will improve the
sewage, put the pipes underground, and integrate road repair
engineering.
8. Setting up a source network of city and town
The service quality of
transportation is closely related to the city tourism. A good
transportation system is helpful to enhance the willingness of traveling to our city.
‘Taitung Living Circle’ is due to finish in the
early May.
9. Welfare policy realization
We will take care of minorities,
enhance emergency service quality, visit and help
high-risk families, do elderly nursery business, and cooperate with private social
welfare groups.
10. Ingenuous and uncorrupt government
To enhance political quality and
organization effectiveness, we will irregularly open
courses for instilling good service attitude and a customer-oriented working policy
to set a base for a long-term city establishment.
11. Development of City Diplomacy
We hope to open up the city’s
international visibility through city diplomacy.
12. Leisure farming
A griculture must evolve according to
the trend .So we will make it merchandize to
enhance its additional valve and improve its competitiveness, breaking through the
present obstacles and open a new leaf for Taiwan’s
agriculture.
13. Cultural tourism:a new city
Taitung has multi-cultural features.
We hope to reform the city so that it will
change from an old
traditional town to become an international tourist city
